BRC
BRISBANE ROWING CLUB
Brisbane Rowing Club (BRC) was created in April 2019 and emerged from the Tattersalls Rowing Club (TRC) which was founded in 2002. Some fine traditions established by TRC have been continued by BRC. Other things have changed, including opening executive positions to members of all genders.
We are keen to extend the sense of fun and friendship we enjoy to new members. If you are wanting to start or return to rowing, email your contact details, age, general fitness level, and rowing experience if any to Bnerowingclub@gmail.com.

category definitions
When competing, crews race in age categories which are calculated by adding the age each crew member will achieve by 31 December and dividing the total by the number of seats in the boat. For example, a quad crew aged 45, 61, 49 and 55 has an average age of 52.5 and would race in Category D. In other words, the average age of a crew is used to calculate which category (A-I) the crew is eligible to compete in.
A Age 27 to 35
B Age 36 to 42
C Age 43 to 49
D Age 50 to 54
E Age 55 to 59
F Age 60 to 64
G Age 65 to 69
H Age 70 to 74
I Age 75 to Up
